Over the past few months we have been hit with some undeniable pressures. Pandemic, unemployment, evictions, mental illnesses, and a plethora of other things that cause one to tend to give up on their passions.
I have been a community organizer for more than 20 years. I have a degree in Organizational Leadership and Professional Studies and am a Paralegal amongst many of my other entrepreneurial activities. I am amongst many people of color who are educated. Whether it's from books, or the streets we are all educated in one way or another.
What I cannot get ingrained into my brain is why the solution for the thousands of inhumane, discriminatory and racist practices and procedures worldwide, is right in front of our faces, but we refuse to do what's necessary.
The answer lies in truth, and that is, the thing that makes the world go round...MONEY! AND IF I DON'T CHAMPION THE CALL FOR ACTION WHO WILL?
hMMMM......
Not to mention that unarmed black people are still being murdered by police and our voting rights are being stripped.
