Every since I was a little girl, and used to listened to the "grown folks" talk about men and women, I always heard the term that " a man wants a lady in the street, and a H** in the bed. Yes ladies, we have all had that talk about how men love a "good girl". And how we had to live up to those standards in order to get and keep a man in our lives.
There goes the mixed messaging. Socially, women, especially black women have to look a certain way. Whether it's in the strut of her walk, the sway of her hips, the color of her lips or hair and the stylish clothes that she wears, we are supposed to have "that" look. That is, until we get home to our men.
After the house is cleaned, the food is cooked, the homework is done and the kids are in the bed, women are supposed to turn into romantic she-devils. It's time to tear of the apron, put on a negligee, some crotch-less panties, six inch heels, doused in our favorite perfume, with whipped cream in between our thighs and ride on a ding-dong into the oblivious sunset. But, what is he supposed do do? What do we want from men, sexually?
Today, I have the pleasure of introducing world renowned Sexologist Shauna Davis. Let me tell you a little bit about her industry. Sexology is defined as the scientific study of sexuality, and can be examined from many different angles. A sexologist in general studies sexual desires, sexual function, and sexual behaviors.
Sexual health is a state of physical, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality. It requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence. Remember that, free of coercion, discrimination and violence.
Reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, in all matters relating to the reproductive system and to its functions and processes. Reproductive health implies that people are able to have a satisfying and safe sex life and that they have the capability to reproduce and the freedom to decide if, when and how often to do so.
Sexual, physical, mental and social well being are the nucleus of reproductive health. But many times, while the penis has the social conception of being a good thing, masculine, domineering and an object of great desire, the vagina has been referred to in a negative manner.
The number of names for the Vagina is frankly amazing. It is referred to as a “vajayjay” a “lady bit”, a “lady box,” a” Hooha”, “the coochie” and the famous “poo-na-nee”. These terms have, for most part, a negative connotation. It seems to me, that is difficult to say “Vagina!
Prior to the 1680’s there was no medical term for vagina. Before then the “vagina” was referred to as a scabbard or sheath for a sword. Some physicians believed that the uterus was some kind of “ animal” residing in the female body. It was looked upon like bleeding entity from outer space. Of course, men were the authors of what the vagina was. And they were totally wrong!
At the height of the Victorian era, doctors treated their female patients by stimulating them to orgasm. This was a mass treatment, a cure for what was called “hysteria”. The treatment consisted of using a new technology called the Vibrator. The physicians did not want to get “carpal tunnel syndrome” in their hands and wrists. Hence the Vibrator! I’m sure that there were thousands of women screaming to the top of their lungs…hysterically!
Many women and men are uncomfortable talking about the vagina…which baffles me. All women have one, and somebody, male or female always wants to be in one, in one aspect or another. So, let's talk about it!
Now, Let's talk about these brothers!
So, Now what the fuck? This time I mean the Black Militia group called “The Not Fucking Around Coalition” (NFAC). The NFAC descended upon Georgia’s Stone Mountain Park on July 4th, 2020. They were 1,000 strong, heavily armed black men and women who challenged white nationalist groups to come out and fight. They gathered at the sculpture depicting Confederate president Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, and Stonewall Jackson. This sculpture is historically tied to the KKK and has been the site of recent white nationalist rallies.
The NFAC is 100% black and are not affiliated with BLM. NFAC Founder Grand Master Jay stated that “We are a Black militia. We are not protesters, we aren’t demonstrators. We don’t come to sing; we don’t come to chant. That’s not what we do. The NFAC demanded that the “boogaloo boys, the three per centers and other white supremacist groups to “stop hiding".
Well of course, they are punks and remained hidden.
The KKK made it known that their mission on the 4th of July weekend was to kill black people. My question is…how is that different from any other weekend? The KKK are in our police forces, in our government agencies, in our drug industries, our food supply chains, in our medical industries, our judicial bodies, our doctors, lawyers, landlords, childcare industries, school. They are en-grained into every aspect of society because the KKK were the engineers of the constitution.
In Dred Scott v Sanford (1857), Butler v Perry (1916), Jones v Alfred H. Mayer Co. (1968), and Memphis v Greene (1981) states…The Constitution and Slavery: Provisions in the Original Constitution. Article I, Section. 2 {Slaves count as 3/5 persons}. There it is for all who want to get offended! Boom!
While the Stone Mountain Police contained themselves, and respected the NFAC's right to bear arms, many people were shocked and horrified. Even black people. Why Black People? Are you afraid to stand up for your rights? This is not the 60's!
Black Dollar Days y'all! Let's do this!
